I’m Jez,

I founded a production company back in 2017, filming & Directing Adverts, Documentaries & Live Events for big high street names. Clients included Cartoon Network, Boy, New Girl Order & The Ivy to name a few. It wasn’t until getting married last year did I realise that filming weddings is where my passion lies.

I’ve filmed lots of weddings over the years, but as of 2023 I have established β€˜Wedlock Films’ & going forward I am excited to make your special day into a unique cinematic film - for that is what every wedding is.. Unique. I love spending the extra time to make sure your film doesn’t follow the same formula you may have seen before.

I wasn’t always behind the camera - I used to be in front of it. I studied at the same college I eventually became Musical Director of β€˜Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts’. I toured the World & West End in musicals, plays & have appeared in Disney & Warner Bros films. From there my creativity went into teaching & directing before ultimately starting my own company.

The expertise I’ve received on set as an actor and director helps me produce beautiful, cinematic quality videos that capture your special day unlike any other. All whilst being inconspicuous. (a bit like a ninja I have been told!)

The camera’s & recording gear I use for your wedding are from my production company, these cameras are of the highest grade and used frequently by Netflix, TV and film crews worldwide. Aside from their quality, all my cameras are picked for their subtlety and small size, so it wont feel like having a film crew at your wedding!

Also check out the β€˜Retro’ Option on the β€˜Our Films’ section. For this I hand out several Vintage camcorders to your family & Friends on the day to create a wedding documentary. This is a great additional feature to your wedding film or as a stand alone option.

If you fancy, you might want to have a deeper dive and stalk our home restoration page on Instagram below. We don’t get as much time anymore as we did in lockdown but when there’s a little downtime we try and restore our Georgian Townhouse.
